 Standard Pallet Racking

All racking systems consist of vertical frames and horizontal beams for maximum stability 

Drive - In

Storage by accumulation: excellent use of available space. This type of storage consists of a set of levels forming inside loading corridors with support rails for the pallets. The forklift enters the corridors with the load elevated above the level where it is to be placed on. Storage rails facilitate forklift maneuvers, thereby aiding movement and minimizing the possibility of accidental damage. 

Mobile Pallet Racking

To create the maximum storage density whilst retaining 100% access to each pallet location, adjustable pallet racking can be mounted on heavy duty powered mobile bases, thereby reducing to an absolute minimum the number of aisles required to access the racks.
Bases run on special steel tracks which are recessed flush into the floor slab, usually during the original slab construction.
Control of the bases can be simple push-button panels mounted on each bank of racking through to remote controlled systems integrated with the fork lift trucks.

Pallet live storage provides a very dense storage solution where pallets are fed in from one side of a rack and subsequently offloaded at the opposite face, producing a first-in first-out stock rotation. Trucks consist of either full-width rollers under the pallet or a number of shorter ‘stub’ roller tracks. Racks can be many pallets deep, with load speed controlled using brake rollers and speed controllers. Pallet separators can be used at the offload face of live storage tracks to facilitate the removal of the front pallet without pressure from the pallets behind.

Longspan racking is designed for warehouses where goods are deposited and removed manually from the shelves. This system also makes optimal use of warehouse height, as the higher levels can be accessed mechanically by devices that lift the operator to the required height (S/R machines or order picking forklifts) or via gangways located between shelves.
A combined picking and pallet racking warehouse is also common, where the top part is used to maintain a stock on pallet racking, and the bottom is used for picking. 

MEZZANINE-ΠΑΤΑΡΙΑ

Mezzanine floors (also called raised storage areas) are usually freestanding independent steel structures used to increase floor area within industrial, commercial and retail units. The floor space created can be used for a vast range of activities including bulk storage, racking and shelving, production space and for the creation of office space.
The floor design needs to take account of the specific use of the floor and especially any high loads which may be placed on the floor area.
